The Qazana is inching closer to showrooms, as these spy shots prove. Nissan’s compact SUV stunner stole the limelight at March’s Geneva Motor Show – and this prototype reveals the distinctive looks will be carried over to the final version.
Dominating the aggressive nose will be a mouth-shaped grille and large headlights. There’s also a low, rakish roofline and short overhangs front and rear. Inside, reports suggest the Qazana will take cues from the concept’s striking cabin. That means we can expect a protruding dash and a centre console inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank.
The car will be built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, and sit below the Qashqai. A wide range of petrol and diesel engines is to be offered when it goes on sale in mid-2010, priced at around £12,500. For more details click here.
