New Volkswagen Passat launched


Volkswagen Passat the new work of Volkswagen for the domestic auto market has finally been launched today in Mumbai.
The German luxury car maker has bestowed the new Volkswagen Passat with the same class and looks which enables it to continue its supremacy over the Indian auto market. Volkswagen unveiled its new revised version of Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion TDI equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine in the domestic auto market. The diesel egine is capable of producing a robust 170 bhp and an excellent 350 Nm torque. The new car is powered with fuel saving measures like reduced engine idle speed, longer gear ratios, Start-stop technology, Regenerative braking etc. Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion diesel is priced at 20.18 lakhs for the Trendline model, however the Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion Comfortline model is tagged at Rs 23.80 lakhs. On the other hand Volkswagen has priced the Highline model at Rs 25.65 lakhs.


For this ongoing year, India has already witnessed many launches in the luxury car segment. This super expensive list includes names like Audi R8 V10 spyder, BMR 6 Series Convertible and a few more. The Indian auto market looks great for the luxury cars as the country's economy is the third largest growing massively.

The new variant of Volkswagen Passat is assembled on the similar platform of its earlier version of Passat. The new Volkswagen Passat is almost four millimeters long when compared with its forerunner, while the weight and height are the same.

Some other changes which helps it look more executive are the new headlights with chrome and the new tail lamps at the rear, the better front grille. Volkswagen Passat interiors are redone which gives it an exclusive look. The executive looks of the new Volkswagen Passat are styled impeccably. The car has been dressed aesthetically and a much better treatment has been given to the headlights. This car will score well over the other luxury cars. The new car has been given a horizontally split dash board and also an inset instrumental buttons.
