Audi A4 Car Review In India

Audi maintains its reputation of producing some of the world's most luxurious cars, with excellent finish in their design.
The German carmaker launched A4 sedan in India in mid 2008. The four-door wonder flaunts capacious interiors, well complemented by stylish exteriors. The sedan promises to deliver commendable top speed, along with superior driving comfort. With two powerful engine options, Audi A4 sedan proves to be the best companion for the elite Indian consumers, who look for grandeur in their vehicle.

Design And Comfort
Audi A4 sedan has a commanding road presence. The single frame radiator grille, with four overlapping rings (Audi's emblem) and stylish bi-xenon headlamps, adorns the muscular front end of the car. The well-flared wheel arches provide extra width to the car and contribute to its dynamic stance. In the rear end, it flaunts a spoiler and wrap-around tail lights. The sedan stands out from the crowd for the amazing finish in its design. As far as comfort is concerned, nothing less than high level of luxury can be expected from A4. The five-seater sedan offers high level of comfort and relaxation to its occupants.

Variants, Price And Color
The two variants of Audi A4 sedan are 3.2 FSI (petrol) and 2.0 TDI (diesel). The petrol model of the automobile is priced at Rs 36 Lakh (approx), whereas the diesel variant comes with a price tag of Rs 29 Lakh (approx). The sedan is available in six vibrant colors, including Phantom Black, Meteor Grey Pearl, Dakar Beige Metallic, Brilliant Red, Ice Silver Metallic and Ibis White.

Engine
petrol model of Audi A4 sedan lies a 3.2 FSI tiptronic Quattro engine, which pumps out a power of 265 PS @ 6500 rpm and a torque of 330 Nm @ 3000 rpm. The car accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. On the other hand, the 2.0 TDI multitronic diesel engine of the sedan produces a maximum power of 140 PS @ 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 320 Nm @ 1750 rpm. With an acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in just 9.7 seconds, the variants equipped with the diesel engine promise to deliver a top speed of 212 km/h. Both the engines are coupled with six speed automatic transmission.

Interiors
The luxurious and roomy interiors of Audi A4 are sophisticated. The cabin of the sedan gets smooth leather surfaces and soft touch materials. Adding to the premium feeling is the ambient lighting provided in the cabin. The car features leather upholstered seats. A driver-tilted LCD is situated on the top of the trendy instrument panel, which gets a sleek wooden trim. Apart from audio information, the small LCD located between tachometer and speedometer displays information about navigation, when the driver opts for route guidance.

Safety
New generation safety equipments have been installed in the latest model of Audi A4. The car comes with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), with traction control and Antilock Braking System (ABS), to ensure that the driver acquires full control over the vehicle during emergencies. Apart from this, the car features dual stage front airbags, side and curtain airbags, to protect the passengers from the impact of collision in the event of accidents.
