Volkswagen has launched a new trim level for the Volkswagen Polo.
The Volkswagen Polo range now includes VW’s new Match model – a replacement for SE and Moda trims – and provides “£650 worth of equipment – but with a price tag that means it costs £215 less than the outgoing models,” according to the firm.
Prices start from £11,300, and exterior features include 15-inch alloys, front fog lights and tinted rear windows. Inside, Match trim gets air-conditioning, multifunction computer and electric windows.
One diesel and two petrol engines are available - a 1.2-litre 74bhp diesel, 1.2-litre three-pot petrol producing 59bhp and a 1.4-litre 84bhp petrol engine – all of which are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
A seven-speed DSG option is also available with the 1.4-litre petrol engine.
The top spec 1.4-litre 84bhp five-door variant with seven-speed DSG option carries a price-tag of £14,485.
