Jaguar launches XF diesel in India at Rs 48.37 lakh

Jaguar, the luxury car maker launched the all new Diesel XF today in India. The  launch follows the recent launch of one of the highly acclaimed 5.0L naturally aspirated petrol XF and the supercharged XFR in 2009. The Jagaur XF has the soul of a sports car, sophistication of a luxury four-door saloon, visual excitement of a coupe and is Contemporary,
individual and a beautifully crafted vehicle. Jaguar has always been known for its philosopy of creating beautiful and fast cars that define high performance, excellent refinement and outstanding dynamic ability.
Jaguar XJ comes with a state-of-the-art 3.0-litre AJ-V6 Diesel S engine, and provides drivers with superior driving dynamics, a more striking appearance and an upgraded interior that offers the ultimate experience in sporting luxury. Blessed with a twin sequential turbocharged engine with 275PS and 600Nm of torque, the car offers exceptional efficiency and refinement. In order to deliver the high levels of power and torque seamlessly and with effortless flexibility, the engine is perfectly matched to Jaguar’s sophisticated six-speed ZF 6HP28 automatic transmission and thus can accelerate the Diesel S from 0-100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds. The car sports technologies like the JaguarDrive SelectorTM, Jaguar Sequential Shift, JaguarDrive ControlTM and Dynamic Stability Control with Trac DSC mode. The all  new Diesel XF combines responsive, sporting dynamics along with the refined, supple ride expected from an iconic luxury Jaguar. The Diesel XF comes fitted with 18” inch alloy wheels along with full size spare wheel as standard.

The XF 3.0L Diesel, the model launched in India includes many premium features such as Soft Grain leather seats, Phosphor Blue halo illumination and interior mood lighting, seven-inch full colour touch-screen display and Jaguar Smart Key SystemTM with Keyless Entry and Start. Also included as standard features  are cruise control, front and rear parking aid with rear view camera, electric glass sunroof, and Jaguar Sound System with 6 CD player.
Diesel XF, the all new luxury vehicle introduced in India today has been customized by Jaguar engineers in the UK for the Indian buyers. The ride height adapted for Indian conditions and a non-DPF diesel engine that the 3.0L Diesel XF sports has been fully homologated and certified at ARAI for the Indian market conditions. This symbolizes Jaguar’s commitment and its importance to the fast growing Indian premium luxury car market.
