MUTE: electric cars German Automobile Mute
With the concept Mute electric Germany joined the ranks of countries currently producing affordable electric cars.
The MUTE, a German pride
The MUTE 100% electric model owes its existence to extensive collaboration between the major German companies that are - Daimler, BMW, Eibach, Thyssenkrupp, Michelin and Bosch - and the Technical University of Munich in Bavaria. These companies will jointly present the final version of the electric two-seater at the Motor Show in Frankfurt in September.
The MUTE will carry the latest technology from the German industries in the field of pneumatics, Body, design and engine. The first revelations of this model suggest its features.
The MUTE, a promising electric vehicle
The electric motor provides a MUTE output of 15 kW per wheel, and is powered by batteries main lithium-ion coupled with a 10 kWh battery auxiliary copper-air. This association provides a range of 100 km, regardless of the mode of action. With this power, this model reached 60 km / h in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 120 km / h.
For more energy saving, use the MUTE narrow tires, reducing the frictional force on the ground. With its aluminum frame and reinforced plastic body, it has a weight of 500 kg when empty. This impressive lightness gives it more autonomy on the road. This two-seater also has a torque vectoring, which allows it to recover energy during braking.
