Nissan's new corporate office in Chennai

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) recently shifted into a new corporate office in Chennai. The Japanese auto company declared it recently that it has inaugurated its corporate office which is wide spread in an area of 13,500 square feet.

The office is well accomplished to carry its operations in India. The new office of the Indian based Nissan Motor will incorporate departments like Corporate Planning, the Program Management team, Product Planning, After Sales, Finance, Exports, Human Resource Functions and Communications.

Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director and CEO, NMIPL inaugurated the new corporate office for the Japanese Nissan India. He at the inaugural function stated that it is a glorious day for Nissan in India. He said that this new office will meet the needs of the operations need which are spreading rapidly. The company is also trying balance out with Renault's corporate office in the same building. Renault and Nissan recently tied up in partnership.

Nissan will still continue its operation from the Mumbai office, as that office will be the regional office. Few of the employees will continue working in the Mumbai Office. Nissan in India operates with a strong portfolio of four cars to its credit. In the hatchback segment it offers Nissan Micra which has been doing quite well in the Indian auto market. The other cars it owns are Nissan X-trail, Nissan Teana and Nissan 370Z.
