Volkswagen eyes at launching a new small car

The leading car manufacturing company from Germany, Volkswagen, after the successful launch of Volkswagen Polo on Indian roads is
now finalizing its strategy to launch the new series of its small cars in India. Recent years have witnessed tremendous increase in the demand of small cars from the big segment of customers in India as a result of which there has been an increase in the demand of cars like Maruti Alto and Hyundai Santro Xing during last few years. Following this trend and with an objective of creating healthy competition in Indian car market, Volkswagen has apparently decided to introduce its small car on Indian roads by the end of this year.The new small car from Volkswagen is speculated to be christened Volkswagen Up and will probably cost around Rs. 3 Lakhs. If rumours are to be believed,Volkswagen is also planning to launch another model Volkswagen Lupo on Indian Roads. At present Volkswagen Lupo is passing through test drive examination in United States. The new Volkswagen Up, is upgraded with an engine of 1.2 litre with front spoilers. Volkswagen Up from Volkswagen will surely give a tough competition to cars like Maruti Alto, Hyundai Santro, Maruti Wagon R, Chevrolet Spark and other cars falling in the same segment.The new Volkswagen Up is a four seated car which is upgraded with flat folding seat system which is has been introduced first time in the small cars. With huge space inside the car it provides enough space to the adult passengers. The air inflatable seats are designed to give comfortable ride to every rider according to their physical appearance. The most attractive feature of new Volkswagen Up is its fuel economy performance with low emission level.According to the statement given in the Financial Express by the Volkswagen sources it is said that the new proposed car from Volkswagen i.e., Volkswagen Up will act as an outsourcing model for the company and will be appreciated more than Volkswagen Polo. With this it also said that company targets to increase the sales of its local market to 75% from its present market range of 60 to 65%. So customers get ready to welcome new Volkswagen Up with joy.
