Tata Motors a renowned name in the world of car manufacturing companies in Indian car market is soon going to launch first version of its new car Tata Aria at low cost, with features of Sports Utility Vehicle.
The company failed to sale much units of Tata Aria in the beginning due to its high cost. The cost announced for Tata Aria by Tata Motors was almost 2-3 lakhs more as compared to Toyota Innova in the same group of car. To cut off the price of Tata Aria, Tata Motors will have also to alter many features to bring it an equivalent price of Toyota Innova. Though Tata Motors managed to sale out 98 units of the Tata Aria during last month but due to low supply of infotainment system the company could not make the assumed sales.
The new Tata Aria carries all those features which are considered important potentials to make any car to stay in competition with other cars of same segment. The new Tata Aria is upgraded with attributes that were demonstrated in the Tata Aria during Geneva Motor Show in 2000. The new Tata Aria will give a tough competition to its contenders like Ford Endeavour, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Innova, Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva, Toyota Fortuner and upcoming Skota Yeti because of its SUV features.
The other features of Tata Aria include  2.2 L, DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) diesel engine which already exists in company's another variants Tata Safari with SUV features and is successful on Indian roads. With this Tata Aria is also a fuel efficient vehicle. It generates maximum power of 140 bhp at 4000rpm along with the peak torque around 320Nm at 1700~2700rpm. The new Tata Aria will be available in three models namely Tata Aria Pride, Tata Aria Prestige and Tata Aria Pleasure.
