Toyota, the carmaker's greenest

Following a survey conducted by the consultancy Interbrand, the first report "Best Global Brands Green" highlights that Toyota is both the brand's most popular green car and the one that has the best environmental performance. Note that the green vehicle products by the brand have been best sellers in the world. Positive opinions on Toyota's green cars were also collected from 10 000 users. Another criterion that has enabled the brand to set itself at the top of the ranking to the method of production of its vehicles that meet strict environmental standards.
Innovative technology
To achieve this environmental performance, Toyota has used the full hybrid technology. Note that this system was present on a range of cars of the brand since 1997 (Prius). In 14 years, Toyota / Lexus has sold nearly 3.2 million hybrid vehicles. The aim of the manufacturer was first to attract more customers by reducing the fuel consumption of its vehicles.
